This is a fun activity for the end of term, just before Easter.

Copy or print out this egg. If possible, it's best done on thin card.

If you are copying it the exact positioning of the divisions do not matter but it should be symmetrical.

The task is to "hatch" the egg by using all the pieces to make some strange and fantastic bird shapes.

And then, at the end, put it back into an egg shape again!
