Make a 3-D Christmas Star

You will need 2 copies of each of the two shapes, A and B, below.

You can download the pieces and instructions to print out and make the star up.

They are best if they are made from thick paper or thin card. They can either be printed or drawn on coloured paper (or card) or decorated as desired.

To make up the star
  1. Cut out and cut slits where indicated.
  2. Lay the two A (larger) pieces on top of each other with the slits lined up.
  3. Push the slit in one B (smaller) piece into one of the pairs of A slits.
  4. Push the other B piece into the slits on the other side of the A pieces.
  5. Stick the two B pieces together on each side with transparent sticky tape.
  6. Open up your star so that it is symmetrically arranged.
